Call for Applications to subsidize travel expenses for attending the 12th Asian Pacific Poultry Conference (APPC2023)
Japan Poultry Science Association (JPSA) is pleased to offer a partial subsidy for young members attending the 12th Asian Pacific Poultry Conference (APPC2023) to be held in Nanging, China, from November 1st to 3rd, 2023. This subsidy will be provided from the JPSA Special Account of the International Poultry Conference Memorial Fund. We hereby announce the call for applications with the following details:

Number of applicants to be accepted: 3
Amount of the subsidy: 100,000 JPY per person
Eligibility: Applicants must fulfill all of the following conditions:
1. JPSA Member.
2. Under 40 years old as of March 31, 2023.
3. Those who have submitted an abstract for presentation at the APPC2023.
4. Those who have not received any support from other programs.
5. Applicants must have been approved by their supervisor to apply for this program.
The subsidy obligation:
1)The successful applicants must submit an original paper to The Journal of Poultry Science within one year. Please pay careful attention to avoid duplicate submission.
Payment of the subsidy will be made after receiving the paper.
2) The successful applicants should write a participation report article (approximately 500 words) for the JPSA Newsletter.
※If the applicant receives another grant, we will cancel our support.
Application Form:
Please submit the application form via email in MS Word format to the JPSA office (jpsa-s@naro.affrc.go.jp), and then send a printed copy sealed by your supervisor to the office by postal mail. The supervisor’s seal is not necessary for email attachments. The application form should be an A4-size sheet. Please download the application form from the JPSA website and prepare it in either Japanese or English.

Judgment for the adoption: The applications will be reviewed by the International Exchange Committee of JPSA
Announcement: The applicants will be notified of the results as soon as possible after the judgment of the adoption. The successful applicant’s names will also be reported in the Japanese Journal of Poultry Science.
