Instructions for Authors
The Journal of Poultry Science

Revisions
We have added some descriptions about Author Contribution to the Instructions for Authors.

Format and Style
Full Papers and Research Notes should consist of the following contents: Title page, Abstract, Introduction, Materials and Methods, Results, Discussion, Acknowledgments, Author Contributions, Conflicts of Interest, References, Legends to Figures, Tables, and Figures (graphs, photographs and illustrations). The Results and Discussion sections can be appropriately combined under specific conditions.

Author Contributions
Authors must include a section which details the contributions of individual authors. Each author can be indicated by their name. For example, Kazuhisa Honda conducted the experiments; Tomohiro Sasanami analyzed the data; Taro Kakin designed the experiments; Hanako Kakin wrote the paper.

The above revisions apply to manuscripts submitted as from September 16, 2021.

Author contribution statements
The Journal of Poultry Science encourages transparency by publishing author contribution statements. Authors are required to include a statement of responsibility in the manuscript that specifies the contribution of every author.
